Check this out, an older photograph of Charles, and I replaced the background using A.I. For me, two things: this would have been spectacular if I had thought about the initial photoshoot with actual mountains in the background. Secondly, I’m not sure where I stand on artificial intelligence and photography.
As a photographer, I’m at a crossroads, but I do know one thing: there’s nothing that can replace the feeling of actually standing with a camera in hand and taking a shot that moves your artistic soul.

What do you think? A.I. is here to stay, and its trajectory into the photography world is speeding up at an alarming rate. What is real, and what isn’t? For some, it is hard to distinguish between what is and what isn’t. Where does that leave photographers and clientele?
Sunday thoughts about artificial intelligence have me wondering where and what will happen with the whole field of photography.
For those of you who don’t know, Charles is my muse (sparking my creativity as a photographer and is in the photograph) and life partner. He is often the centre of my photography (usually dressed in his regalia), and has been my partner for the last 6 years. Time sure does fly, and I’m so thankful for him, my children and my grandchildren.
2026 will be interesting for A.I., and I’m here for it. What about you?
Plus, plus! One more thing to add, 2025 can’t end without telling you all, I am especially proud of my children.
